Community Guidelines
The short version: be kind, be honest, respect “no”, never involve minors, never share intimate images without consent, and never ask for money.
1. Be respectful
Old Enough is a place for adults to meet, talk and share honestly — often anonymously. That only works if people feel safe. Treat everyone the way you would want to be treated, disagree without insults, and take “no” — or no reply — as a final answer.
2. No harassment or bullying
- Don't insult, humiliate, stalk or pile on anyone.
- Don't attack people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other part of who they are.
- Don't keep messaging someone who hasn't replied, has said no, has unmatched or has blocked you — and don't make new accounts to reach them.
3. No threats or violence
Never threaten to hurt anyone, to expose them, or to share their images. Don't encourage violence or self-harm.
4. No scams or fraud
- Don't ask anyone for money, gifts, mobile money, bank or card details, or sign-in codes.
- Don't promote investments, loans, crypto schemes or “get rich” offers.
- Don't offer or ask for sexual services in exchange for money or anything else of value.
5. Be yourself — no impersonation
Anonymous names are welcome; pretending to be someone else is not. Don't pose as another person, a celebrity, an organisation or Old Enough staff, and don't lie about your age.
6. No spam
No repetitive posts or messages, mass messaging, advertising, links to other services to sell things, or automated accounts.
7. No unwanted contact
A like, a match or a message request is an invitation, not an obligation. Never send sexual messages or images to someone who hasn't clearly said they want them.

9. No intimate images without consent
- Never share an intimate photo, video or voice note of someone without their permission — even if they sent it to you.
- Never threaten to share one, or use one to pressure someone for money, favours or sex.
- View-once means view once: don't screenshot or record it.
10. No sexual exploitation
No coercion, trafficking, sextortion or pressuring anyone into sexual activity or into sending images.
11. Respect privacy — no doxxing
Don't post or share anyone's real name, address, phone number, workplace, photos or other private details without their consent — including trying to work out who is behind an anonymous name and revealing it.
12. Nothing illegal
Don't post, send or arrange anything illegal — including drugs, weapons, stolen goods or content you don't have the rights to share.
13. Play fair with the platform
Don't use bots, scripts or multiple accounts; don't fake likes, follows, views or reports; don't try to get around limits, blocks or bans; and don't try to break or test Old Enough's security.
14. Your tools: block, mute and report
- Block — they can't contact you and you won't see each other.
- Mute — hide someone's Stories from your feed without blocking them.
- Report — from the menu on a profile, Story, comment or message. Pick the closest reason and add details if you can. The person isn't told who reported them.

15. What happens when the rules are broken
Our team reviews reports. Depending on what happened and the account's history, we may:
- remove the content;
- remove a verified badge;
- suspend the account for a while;
- permanently ban the account;
- and, for serious harm, preserve evidence and involve the authorities.
Anything involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, sextortion or credible threats leads straight to a permanent ban. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service.
